Abstract

The electric power distribution system functions to deliver energy from substations to consumers. This study evaluates the performance of the Banten feeder, RC Meskom segment, owned by PT PLN (Persero) ULP Bengkalis using ETAP simulation and manual calculations, analyzing load, voltage, current, power losses, and voltage drop. The simulation results show most buses within safe limits, but overloads occur at Lump ZUL 2 and BKL038 at 107.5% with a 5.68% voltage drop. Power losses from the simulation were 12.08 kW in transformers and 2.161 kW in conductors (1.72% of 836 kW), while manual calculations showed 13.05 kW (16.2 % of 802 kW). Voltage drop from the simulation was 72.03 V (0.35%) and manual calculation 195.6 V (0.95%) at 20.58 kV, indicating the simulation provides a more efficient and detailed estimate. These results can serve as a technical reference to improve the efficiency and reliability of the distribution system.
