PT PLN Customer Service Unit (ULP) Bengkalis operates in the field of electricity distribution and customer service, serving the Bengkalis and Bantan Districts. The Sub Pakning area includes the districts of Bandar Laksamana, Bukit Batu, and Siak Kecil, with electricity supplied from the Dumai Industrial Area Substation through two feeders, the oman feeder and the turki feeder. This case study aims to analyze the reliability of the Sub Pakning distribution system based on the SAIDI and SAIFI indices, using outage data from 2024 and 2025. The analysis highlights reliability performance on the oman feeder, RC seilingsing, and RC sukajadi. The oman feeder experienced a decline in reliability, with SAIDI increasing from 218% to 328% and SAIFI from 260% to 468%, indicating more frequent and prolonged outages. RC seilingsing showed improvement in SAIFI, decreasing from 532% to 368%, although SAIDI rose from 74% to 155%. RC sukajadi, which previously had no outages, began to show minor disturbances in 2025, with SAIDI reaching 21% and SAIFI 10%. Overall, these results emphasize the need for technical evaluation and improvements in the protection system, particularly on the Oman feeder, to enhance the reliability of electricity distribution.
